When I was a little girl, my sister and I always got a new fancy dress for Easter. My aunt never had any girls, so she always made us these big, elaborate straw hats to wear to church. We LOVED it, because my mom let us also wear play dress up gloves and matching purses to church service and then to my grandparents’ afterwards. My sister grew out of this, but I think if it was appropriate to wear hats and gloves to church on Easter, I might be tempted to still do it 😉
